कण्वोपदेशः—नश्वरबलविवेकः तथा मातलिगुणकेश्याः आख्यानारम्भः

ऑपन-माज बछ। डे ३. दुसरोंको सुख पहुँचानेकी सहज भावनाका नाम “कृपा” है। २. दूसरोंका दुःख देखकर द्रवित होना एवं काँप उठना “अनुकम्पा” कहलाता है। 3. दूसरोंके दुःखको दूर करनेका भाव “करुणा” है। ४. क्रूरताका सर्वथा अभाव 'अनृशंसता” कहलाता है। षण्णवतितमोब< ध्याय: परशुरामजीका दम्भोद्धवकी कथाद्वारा नर-नारायणस्वरूप अर्जुन और श्रीकृष्णका महत्त्व वर्णन करना वैशम्पायन उवाच तस्मिन्नभिहिते वाक्ये केशवेन महात्मना । स्तिमिता हृष्टरोमाण आसन्‌ सर्वे सभासद:

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tasminn abhihite vākye Keśavena mahātmanā | stimitā hṛṣṭaromāṇa āsan sarve sabhāsadaḥ ||

قال فايشامبايانا: لما نطق كيشافا (كريشنا) العظيمُ النفس بتلك الكلمات، سكن جميعُ أهل المجلس دهشةً؛ واقشعرت أبدانهم وارتعدت جلودهم—علامةً ظاهرة على أنهم تأثروا في أعماقهم بقوة الدَّرما ومعنى ما أُعلن لتوّه.
