Indra’s Distress: Slaying of Triśiras, Birth of Vṛtra, and the Origin of Yawning

When fear clouds judgment, mere strategizing is insufficient; one should first regain clarity by taking refuge in the imperishable divine principle (Viṣṇu), and then act with steady resolve toward a righteous objective.
Overwhelmed by fear, the group deliberates about the next step and then, inwardly turning to Viṣṇu, they seat themselves on Mount Mandara with focused intent, seeking divine support for the slaying of Vṛtra.
