Puruṣottama-nāma-nirvacana

वैचित्रवीर्य पुरुषा: क्रोधहर्षसमावृता: । सिता बहुविधे: पाशैर्ये न तुष्टाः स्वकैर्धनै:

vaicitryavīrya-puruṣāḥ krodha-harṣa-samāvṛtāḥ | sitā bahu-vidhaiḥ pāśair ye na tuṣṭāḥ svakair dhanaiḥ ||

قال فياسا: «يا ابنَ فيتشيترافيريا، إن الرجال من سلالة فيتشيترافيريا الذين تغشاهم الغضبة والنشوة، ولا يرضون بما لهم من مال—مشدودين بأغلالٍ شتى (كالشهوة والوهم)—تدفعهم أعمالهم إلى السقوط مرة بعد مرة تحت سلطان ياما (الموت)، كالعميان يتبع بعضُهم بعضًا.»
