Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Arjuna’s Strategic Supremacy
यथा कक्ष महानग्नि: प्रदहेत् सर्वतश्नरन् । हि 5. 2:08 धक्ष्यति मामकान्
yathā kakṣaḥ mahāgniḥ pradahyeta sarvataś caran | tathā dhakṣyati māmākān arjunaḥ ||
قال دِهْرِتَرَاشْتْرَا: «كما أن حريقًا عظيمًا في البرية، يمضي في كل اتجاه، فيحرق العشب اليابس والأجمة من جميع الجوانب، كذلك سيحرق أرجونا أبنائي حتى يصيروا رمادًا». وفي صورة هذا اللهيب الذي لا يُكبح، يبوح الملك الأعمى باستبصارٍ مفزع: حين ينضج الأدهرما إلى حرب، لا تستطيع حتى السلطة الملكية أن تقي من اختار الظلم من العواقب المُلتهمة لأعماله.
