Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)

तस्य वीर्येण संक्लिष्टा नित्यमेव सुता मम । स एव हेतुर्भेदस्य भीमो भीमपराक्रम:,मेरे पुत्र उसके बल-पराक्रमसे सदा ही कष्टमें पड़े रहते थे। भयंकर पराक्रमी भीमसेन ही इस फ़ूटकी जड़ है

tasya vīryeṇa saṅkliṣṭā nityam eva sutā mama | sa eva hetur bhedasya bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ ||

قال دِهْرِتَرَاشْتْرَا: «بسبب بأسه كانت بنِيَّ يُبتلون على الدوام. ذلك بِهِيمَا نفسه—المُرعب في البأس—هو سبب هذا الانشقاق وجذره.»
