अध्याय ३९: विदुरेण धृतराष्ट्राय नीत्युपदेशः
Timely Counsel, Association, and Kin-Duty
गृहे स्थापयितव्यानि धन्यानि मनुरब्रवीत् । देवब्राह्मणपूजार्थमतिथीनां च भारत
gṛhe sthāpayitavyāni dhanyāni manur abravīt | devabrāhmaṇapūjārtham atithīnāṃ ca bhārata ||
قال فيدورا: «لقد قرّر مانو أنّه ينبغي أن تُحفَظ في البيت مؤنُ الحبوب والمال، يا بهاراتا، لكي يُكرَمَت الآلهةُ والبراهمة، ولكي يُستقبَل الضيفُ استقبالًا لائقًا.»
