ध्ृतराष्टर उवाच आचक्ष्व मां कुशलिनं कल्पमस्मै प्रवेश्यतां स्वागतं संजयाय । न चाहमेतस्य भवाम्यकल्प: स मे कस्माद्‌ द्वारि तिछेच्च सक्त:

Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca |

ācakṣva māṃ kuśalinaṃ kalpam asmai praveśyatāṃ svāgataṃ saṃjayāya |

na cāham etasya bhavāmy akalpaḥ sa me kasmād dvāri tiṣṭhec ca saktaḥ ||

Translation

قال دِهرتَراشْترا: «أخبِروه أنني بخيرٍ ومستعدٌّ للقائه؛ رحّبوا بسنجيا وأدخلوه. ما كنتُ قطُّ غيرَ مستعدٍّ لمقابلته—فلماذا يقف ملتصقًا بالباب؟»
