ततस्ता राजशार्दूल धात्र्यो दाशार्णिकास्तदा । जम्मुरार्ति परां प्रेष्या: प्रेषयामासुरेव च,नृपश्रेष्ठ! यह सुनकर दशार्णदेशकी धायोंको बड़ा दुःख हुआ। उन्होंने यह समाचार सूचित करनेके लिये बहुत-सी दासियोंको दशार्णराजके यहाँ भेजा

Transliteration

tatas tā rājarṣabha dhātryo dāśārṇikās tadā | jamburārtim parāṁ preṣyāḥ preṣayāmāsur eva ca ||

Translation

ثمّ، يا ثورَ الملوك، غمرَتْ مرضعاتُ الداشارْنَةِ كُربةٌ شديدة. ولإبلاغ الخبر أرسلنَ عدداً كبيراً من الجواري إلى ملكِ الداشارْنَة. ويُبرز المقطع سرعةَ الخدمة المخلصة وما يستشعره القائمون على الرعاية من إلحاحٍ أخلاقي حين تُفاجَأ دارُ الملك بنازلةٍ مباغتة.
