Ambā’s Vow of Tapas after Paraśurāma’s Assessment (अम्बाया तपोव्रतनिश्चयः)

ततो दधार सा देवी गर्भ राजीवलोचना । तदनन्तर ट्रुपदराजकी मनस्विनी पत्नीने नियमपूर्वक रहकर ट्रुपदके साथ संयोग किया। शास्त्रीय विधिसे गर्भाधान-संस्कार होनेपर यथासमय उसने गर्भ धारण किया। राजन! जैसा कि मुझसे नारदजीने कहा था। ट्रुपदकी कमलनयनी रानीने इसी प्रकार गर्भ धारण किया ।। ९-१० है || तां स राजा प्रियां भार्या द्रुपद: कुरुनन्दन,कुरुनन्दन! महाबाहु ट्रुपदने भावी पुत्रके प्रति स्नेह होनेके कारण अपनी प्यारी पत्नीको बड़े सुखसे रखा। उसका आदर-सत्कार किया। कुरुकुलरत्न! रानीको जिन-जिन वस्तुओंकी इच्छा हुई, वे सब उनके सामने प्रस्तुत की गयीं

tato dadhāra sā devī garbhaṁ rājīvalocanā | tāṁ sa rājā priyāṁ bhāryāṁ drupadaḥ kurunandana |

قال بهيشما: ثم إن تلك الملكة الشبيهة بالإلهة، ذات العينين كزهرة اللوتس، حملت. يا فخرَ الكورو، إن الملك دروبادا، محبةً للولد الذي سيولد، أبقى زوجته الحبيبة في وافر الراحة وأكرمها؛ وكل ما اشتهته قُدِّم بين يديها.
