Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the ethical and spiritual weight given to tīrtha-yātrā (pilgrimage) and sustained effort: one who is intent on a chosen purpose may undertake continuous discipline—day and night—seeking purification, clarity, or fulfillment through sacred places.

Rāma describes how the maiden of Kāśī roams among holy pilgrimage sites without pause, moving freely according to her intention—suggesting an ongoing quest or vow-driven search connected with her personal aim.
