ततो रामो हृषितो राजसिंह दृष्टवा तदस्त्रं विनिवर्तितं वै । जितो<स्मि भीष्मेण सुमन्दबुद्धि- रित्येव वाक्यं सहसा व्यमुड्चत्,राजसिंह! मैंने प्रस्वापनास्त्रको उतार लिया है--यह देखकर परशुरामजी बड़े प्रसन्न हुए। उनके मुखसे सहसा यह वाक्य निकल पड़ा कि “मुझ मन्दबुद्धिको भीष्मने जीत लिया”

ثم إنّ راما (باراشوراما)، وقد سُرَّ—يا أسدَ الملوك—لمّا رأى السلاحَ قد رُدَّ وكُفَّ، اندفعت من فيه فجأة هذه الكلمات: «لقد غلبني بهيشما، أنا ذو الفهم الكليل».
