Bhīṣma’s Account of the Strategic Engagement with Rāma Jāmadagnya
जामदग्न्येन मे युद्धमिदं परमदारुणम् | अहानि च बहुन्यद्य वर्तते सुमहात्ययम्,आज बहुत दिन हो गये, जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामजीके साथ यह मेरा अत्यन्त भयंकर और महान् अनिष्टकारक युद्ध चल रहा है
jāmadagnyena me yuddham idaṃ paramadāruṇam | ahāni ca bahūny adya vartate sumahātyayam ||
قال بهيشما: «إنّ هذه المعركة التي أخوضها مع جاماداغنيا (باراشوراما) بالغةُ الفظاعة. وحتى اليوم، بعد أن انقضت أيامٌ كثيرة، ما تزال مستمرة—حاملةً معها كارثةً عظيمة.»
