Bhīṣma’s Account of the Strategic Engagement with Rāma Jāmadagnya
एनसा न तु संयोगं प्राप्स्यसे जातु मानद । स्वप्स्यते जामदग्न्यो5सौ त्वद्वाणबलपीडित:
enasā na tu saṃyogaṃ prāpsyase jātu mānada | svapsyate jāmadagnyo 'sau tvad-vāṇa-bala-pīḍitaḥ ||
قال بيشما: «يا واهب الشرف، لن يلحقك إثم قطّ من هذا اللقاء. فذلك ابن جامادغني (باراشوراما)، وقد قُهر وأُنهك بقوة سهامك، سيصمت ويضطجع لينام».
