अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः
Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
ततः सा राममभ्येत्य जननी मे महानदी । मदर्थ तमृषिं वीक्ष्य क्षमयामास भार्गवम्
tataḥ sā rāmam abhyetya jananī me mahānadī | madarthaṃ tam ṛṣiṃ vīkṣya kṣamayāmāsa bhārgavam ||
ثم إن أمي، النهر العظيم «مها ندي» (Mahānadī)، تقدّمت إلى راما. ولمّا رأت الحكيم «بهارغافا» (Bhārgava) هناك بسببي، التمست عفوه—مُقِرّةً بالزلة التي نشأت من جرّائي، وساعيةً إلى ردّ الحقّ بالتواضع والمصالحة.

Bhīṣma narrates that his mother, the great river Mahānadī, approached Rāma (Paraśurāma). Recognizing that the sage Bhārgava had been drawn into the situation because of Bhīṣma, she attempted to appease him and asked for his forgiveness.
