शरणागतां महाबाहो कन्यां न त्यक्तुमरहसि । यदि भीष्मो रणे राम समाहूतस्त्वया मृधे

Transliteration

śaraṇāgatāṃ mahābāho kanyāṃ na tyaktum arhasi | yadi bhīṣmo raṇe rāma samāhūtas tvayā mṛdhe |

Translation

قال بهيشما: «يا عظيمَ الساعد، لا يليق بك أن تهجر هذه الفتاة التي جاءت مستجيرة. يا راما، يا سليلَ بهريغو—إن أنتَ دعوته إلى القتال، فجاء بهيشما إلى ساحة المعركة أمامك وقَبِلَ الهزيمة أو انقاد لأمرك، فقد تمّ مرادُ هذه الفتاة.»
