नैष जातु महेष्वास: पार्थमक्लिष्टकारिणम् | हन्यादाचार्यकं दीप्तं संस्मृत्य गुणनिर्जितम्,महाधनुर्धर द्रोणाचार्यका समुज्ज्वल आचार्यभाव अर्जुनके गुणोंद्वारा जीत लिया गया है। उसका स्मरण करके ये अनायास ही महान् कर्म करनेवाले कुन्तीपुत्र अर्जुनको कदापि नहीं मारेंगे
naiṣa jātu maheṣvāsaḥ pārtham akliṣṭakāriṇam | hanyād ācāryakaṃ dīptaṃ saṃsmṛtya guṇanirjitam ||
قال بيشما: «إنّ ذلك الرامي العظيم لن يضرب قطّ بارثا، صانعَ المآثر الذي لا يكلّ. فإذا تذكّر الرابطةَ المتلألئة بين المعلّم والتلميذ—دْرونا، الآتشاريّا الجليل الذي غلبته فضائل أرجونا—فلن يطاوعه قلبه على قتل ابن كونتي.»
