ध्रुवी जय: पाण्डवानामिति मे निश्चिता मति: । तथा हाभिनिवेशो<यं वासुदेवस्य भारत,'मेरा निश्चित विश्वास है कि इस युद्धमें पाण्डवोंकी अवश्य विजय होगी। भारत! श्रीकृष्णका भी ऐसा दृढ़ संकल्प है
dhruvī jayaḥ pāṇḍavānām iti me niścitā matiḥ | tathā hābhiniveśo 'yaṃ vāsudevasya bhārata |
قال فايشَمبايانا: «لقد استقرّ يقيني: إن النصر للپاندافا لا محالة. يا بهاراتا، فإن فاسوديفا (كريشنا) أيضًا يضمر العزم الراسخ نفسه».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse asserts moral and strategic certainty: when a cause is aligned with dharma and supported by Kṛṣṇa’s unwavering resolve, victory is portrayed as assured. It highlights the ethical idea that steadfast commitment to righteousness, reinforced by wise/divine guidance, leads to rightful success.
Within the Udyoga Parva’s war-preparation context, the narrator Vaiśampāyana states his settled conviction that the Pāṇḍavas will win the coming conflict, and adds that Kṛṣṇa (Vāsudeva) shares the same firm determination—foreshadowing the outcome and emphasizing Kṛṣṇa’s decisive support.
