फल्गु यच्च बल॑ किंचिद् यच्चापि कृशदुर्बलम् । तत् संगृह ययौ राजा ये चापि परिचारका:,राजा युधिष्ठिरने जो कोई भी सेना सारहीन, कृशकाय अथवा दुर्बल थी, सबको एवं अन्य परिचारकोंको उपप्लव्यमें एकत्र करके वहाँसे प्रस्थान कर दिया
phalgu yac ca balaṁ kiñcid yac cāpi kṛśa-durbalam | tat saṅgṛhya yayau rājā ye cāpi paricārakāḥ ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: جمع الملك ما كان من الجند قليلَ الشأن في القوة، وما كان منهم نحيفًا ضعيفًا، وجمع كذلك الخدم والتابعين؛ فلما أحصاهم ونظّمهم ارتحل إلى أوبابلافيا. ويُبرز هذا المقطع حُسن القيادة: فحتى الهامشيون والضعفاء لا يُطرحون جانبًا، بل يُرتَّبون ويُحمَلون ضمن المسير الجماعي نحو الأمان والواجب.
