pṛthivīṃ cāntarikṣaṃ ca vicintyātha manogatiḥ | nimeṣāntaramātreṇa bṛhaspatimupāgamat ||
وبعد أن مسح الأرض وما بين الأرض والسماء، عاد السريع الحركة—الذي تماثل سرعته سرعة الخاطر—إلى بْرِهَسْپَتِي في زمن لا يزيد على طرفة عين. وتؤكد الرواية معنى الخدمة المنضبطة: فواجب الرسول يُؤدَّى بالبحث المركَّز، وضبط النفس، ورفع الخبر سريعًا إلى السلطة الشرعية، لا بالاندفاع وراء الهوى.
