मातोवाच अतो मे भूयसी नन्दिर्यदेवमनुपश्यसि । चोद्यं मां चोदयस्येतद् भृशं वै चोदयामि ते
mātovāca ato me bhūyasī nandir yadevam anupaśyasi | codyaṃ māṃ codayasy etad bhṛśaṃ vai codayāmi te ||
قالت الأم: «لذلك يزداد سروري، إذ إنك تُبصر الأمور على هذا النحو. إنك تحثّني بهذه المشورة؛ وأنا بدوري أحثّك حثًّا شديدًا—فامضِ واعمل بها».
पुत्र उवाच
Right understanding should lead to decisive action: when one clearly perceives what is proper, exhortation is not mere speech but a call to follow through, and elders reinforce that resolve.
In a dialogue between mother and son, the mother expresses increased happiness that the son understands correctly, acknowledges that he is urging her with a certain counsel, and then emphatically urges him in return to act accordingly.
