नहुष उवाच एवं भवतु सुश्रोणि यथा मामिह भाषसे । ज्ञात्वा चागमनं कार्य सत्यमेतदनुस्मरे:

Nahuṣa uvāca: evaṁ bhavatu suśroṇi yathā mām iha bhāṣase | jñātvā cāgamanaṁ kārya satyam etad anusmareḥ ||

قال نَهُوشَةُ: «فليكن الأمر كذلك، يا ذاتَ الخصرِ الحَسَن، كما تخاطبينني هنا. ولكن إذا عرفتِ ما ينبغي فعله فتعالي؛ واذكري هذا على أنه الحقّ.»
