संनिधौ ते महाराज क्रोधजं पापबुद्धिजम् । 'परंतु भारत! महाराज! आपके समीप मैं क्रोध अथवा पापबुद्धिसे होनेवाला यह निन्दित कर्म नहीं प्रारम्भ करूँगा
sannidhau te mahārāja krodhajaṁ pāpabuddhijam |
«لكن يا سليل بهاراتا، أيها الملك العظيم، في حضرتك أنت لن أُطلق هذا الفعل المذموم—فهو مولودٌ من الغضب، منبثقٌ من نيةٍ آثمة.»
