ययातिपतनम् — Yayāti’s Fall and the Offer of Dharma

गृहीतमाल्यदामां तां रथमारोप्य माधवीम्‌ । पूरुर्यदुश्चन भगिनीमाश्रमे पर्यधावताम्‌

gṛhītamālyadāmāṃ tāṃ rathamāropya mādhavīm | pūrur yaduś ca na bhaginīm āśrame paryadhāvatām ||

قال نارَدَة: أخذوا الأكاليلَ وأطواقَ الزهر، وأركبوا مادهافي على مركبة، ثم أسرعوا يطوفون في الأشرم—وبُورو ويَدو كذلك—يبحثون عن أختهم. ويُبرز المشهدُ واجبَ القرابة وعَجَلةَ صونِ شرف المرأة وسلامتها ضمن حدود الدارما.
