धन-निरुक्ति तथा गालवस्य गुरुदक्षिणा-प्रसङ्गः

विश्वामित्रो5थ तं दृष्टवा गालवं चाध्वनि स्थित: । उवाच वदतां श्रेष्ठो वैनतेयस्य संनिधौ,इधर गालवको राहमें आते देख वक्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ विश्वामित्रजी खड़े हो गये और गरुड़के समीप उनसे इस प्रकार बोले--
Viśvāmitro ’tha taṃ dṛṣṭvā Gālavaṃ cādhvani sthitaḥ | uvāca vadatāṃ śreṣṭho Vainateyasya saṃnidhau ||
ثم إن فيشفامِترا، إذ رأى غالافا على الطريق، قام واقفًا، وهو أبلغُ المتكلمين، وخاطبه في حضرة فايناتِيا (غارودا) قائلاً—
