ततः सूर्यस्य भवने चन्द्रस्य भवने तथा
tataḥ sūryasya bhavane candrasya bhavane tathā
ثم بلغوا دارَ الشمس، وكذلك دارَ القمر—يمضون في العوالم السماوية على ترتيبها اللائق، إذ إن ثمارَ الاستقامة ترفع الكائنات إلى مقاماتٍ أعلى.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores the idea that the cosmos is morally structured: righteous action (dharma) bears fruit as orderly ascent through higher realms, symbolized by reaching the abodes of the Sun and Moon.
Vaiśampāyana describes the onward movement through heaven: the travelers proceed to the Sun’s abode and similarly to the Moon’s abode, marking successive stages in a celestial journey.
