अप्रमादेन शिक्षेथा: क्षमां बुद्धिं धृतिं मतिम् भूतानां चैव जिज्ञासा साध्वसाधु च सर्वदा
apramādena śikṣethāḥ kṣamāṁ buddhiṁ dhṛtiṁ matiṁ bhūtānāṁ caiva jijñāsā sādhv-asādhu ca sarvadā
قال أوتاثيا: «درِّب نفسك بلا غفلة وبدوام اليقظة: ربِّ الحِلم، وصفاء الفهم، والثبات، وحُسن الرأي. واطلب دائمًا معرفة طبائع الكائنات، وميِّز في كل حين بين الصالح وغير الصالح.»
उतथ्य उवाच
One should live with apramāda (unremitting attentiveness), deliberately cultivating patience/forgiveness, discernment, steadiness, and sound judgment, while continually inquiring into the nature of beings and distinguishing the good from the harmful in every situation.
