शाश्वतो5यं भूतिपथो नास्यान्तमनुशुश्रुम । महान्‌ दाशरथ: पन्था मा राजन्‌ कुपथं गम:,यह क्षत्रियोंके लिये कल्याणका सनातन मार्ग है। इसका कभी अन्त नहीं सुना गया है। राजन्‌! यह वह महान्‌ मार्ग है, जिसपर दस रथ चलते हैं, आप किसी कुत्सित मार्गका आश्रय न लें

śāśvato ’yaṃ bhūtipatho nāsyāntam anuśuśruma | mahān dāśarathaḥ panthā mā rājan kupathaṃ gamaḥ ||

قال أرجونا: “هذا هو الطريق الأزلي المؤدي إلى الرخاء والعافية؛ ما سمعنا قطّ أن له نهاية. أيها الملك، هذه هي الجادّة العظمى—الطريق الملكي العريض الموروث عبر الدهور. فلا تَحِدْ، أيها الحاكم، إلى سبيلٍ خسيسٍ مُهلك.”
