राजधर्मः—प्रजापालनं दानयज्ञश्च
Royal Duty—Protection of Subjects, Generosity, and Sacrificial Discipline

सर्वाश्चैव प्रजा नित्यं राजा धर्मेण पालयन् । उत्थानेन प्रदानेन पूजयेच्चापि धार्मिकान्,समस्त प्रजाओंका सदा धर्मपूर्वक पालन करनेवाले राजाको घरपर आये हुए धर्मात्मा पुरुषोंका खड़ा होकर स्वागत करना चाहिये और उत्तम वस्तुएँ देकर उनका आदर-सत्कार करना चाहिये
Translation
والملكُ الذي يرعى جميعَ رعيّته على الدوام وفق الدارما، ينبغي له إذا قدم إلى داره رجالٌ أتقياء أن يقوم لاستقبالهم، وأن يكرمهم بإعطاء النفائس وحسن الضيافة.
