राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः
Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures
न लभेद् धर्मसंश्लेषं हतविप्रहतो जन: । हर्ता स्वस्थेन्द्रियो गच्छेद् यदि राजा न पालयेत्,यदि राजा पालन न करे तो मनुष्य हताहत होकर धर्मका सम्पर्क छोड़ दें और चोर घरका मालमत्ता लेकर अपने शरीर और इन्द्रियोंपर आँच आये बिना ही सकुशल लौट जायूँ
na labhed dharma-saṁśleṣaṁ hata-viprahato janaḥ | hartā svasthendriyo gacched yadi rājā na pālayet ||
قال فَسومانَا: «إذا لم يحمِ الملكُ (الرعيةَ والمملكة)، فإن الناس—وقد أُنهكوا وضُيِّق عليهم—سينقطعون عن كل صلةٍ بالدهرما؛ وسيغادر اللصّ سالمًا، جسدًا وحواسّ، بعد أن يحمل متاعَ غيره.»
