Departure to Behold Bhīṣma
युक्तो रथवरो राजन् वासुदेवस्य धीमतः । समीपमापगेयस्य प्रयास्यति जनार्दन:,“राजन! परम बुद्धिमान् भगवान् वासुदेवका श्रेष्ठ रथ जुतकर तैयार हो गया है। श्रीजनार्दन शीघ्र ही गड़ानन्दन भीष्मके समीप जानेवाले हैं
yukto rathavaro rājan vāsudevasya dhīmataḥ | samīpam āpageyasya prayāsyati janārdanaḥ ||
قال فَيْشَمْبايَنَة: «أيها الملك، لقد أُعِدَّت العربةُ الممتازةُ لڤاسوديفا بالغِ الحكمة. وإنَّ جَناردَنَةَ على وشك أن ينطلقَ في الحال إلى حضرةِ بِهيشْمَةَ، ابنِ سلالةِ آلِ آبا».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores readiness to seek dharma through rightful counsel: after devastation, restoration begins not with force but with approaching the wise elder for guidance, showing that ethical order is rebuilt through inquiry, humility, and disciplined action.
Kṛṣṇa’s chariot is prepared, and he is about to go to Bhīṣma lying nearby. This sets up the forthcoming teachings in Śānti Parva, where Bhīṣma instructs on dharma, governance, and moral duty in the aftermath of the Kurukṣetra war.
