Paraśurāma’s origins and the depletion/restoration of kṣatriya lineages
तां दृष्टवा द्रवरतीं तत्र संत्रासात् स महामना: । ऊरुणा धारयामास कश्यप: पृथिवीं ततः,भयके मारे पृथ्वीको रसातलकी ओर भागती देख महामनस्वी कश्यपने अपने ऊरुओंका सहारा देकर उसे रोक दिया
tāṃ dṛṣṭvā dravaratīṃ tatra saṃtrāsāt sa mahāmanāḥ | ūruṇā dhārayāmāsa kaśyapaḥ pṛthivīṃ tataḥ ||
فلما رأى الأرضَ ترتعد وتندفع هاربةً من شدة الفزع، أسندها كاشيابا عظيمُ النفس بفخذيه وكفَّها، فمنعها أن تفرّ إلى العوالم السفلى.
