वायुदेव उवाच
Attachment (sneha) to an unrighteous friend can overpower discernment and push a person into adharma—here, expressed as contempt toward brāhmaṇas, who represent sacred learning, restraint, and dharmic authority.
Vāyu foretells that a certain being will form friendship with King Duryodhana; due to that bond of affection, he will end up committing the grave social and moral offense of insulting brāhmaṇas.
