पुरा मध्याह्नलसमये लोकांस्तपति भास्करे | प्रत्यादित्यप्रतीकाश: सर्वतः समदृश्यत
purā madhyāhna-lasamaye lokāṁs tapati bhāskare | pratyāditya-pratīkāśaḥ sarvataḥ samadṛśyata ||
في سالف الزمان، حين كانت الشمس تُلهِب العوالم في ساعة الظهيرة الوادعة، ظهر شخصٌ متألّق—يضيء كأنه شمسٌ ثانية—مرئيٌّ من كل جهة بضياءٍ متساوٍ.
नाग उवाच
The verse signals that true potency—often linked with dharma and tapas—manifests as an unmistakable, universally perceptible radiance, suggesting moral/spiritual excellence that does not depend on violence or domination.
Nāga describes a past event: at the height of midday heat, while the Sun blazed over the worlds, an extraordinary luminous person appeared, shining like another sun and visible from every direction.
