पितामह उवाच
This is a concluding colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it frames the preceding discourse as Mokṣadharma teaching, presented through a Brahmā–Rudra dialogue, and situates it within the praise of Nārāyaṇa’s supreme greatness—thereby linking liberation-oriented dharma with devotion and theological hierarchy.
The text signals the end of a chapter: within Śānti Parva’s Mokṣadharma section, the episode concerning Nārāyaṇa’s glory—told via a dialogue between Brahmā and Rudra—has concluded, and the chapter is formally closed.
