अधिष्ठानं तथा कर्ता करणं च पृथग्विधम्‌ । विविधा च तथा चेष्टा दैवं चैवात्र पजचमम्‌

adhiṣṭhānaṃ tathā kartā karaṇaṃ ca pṛthagvidham | vividhā ca tathā ceṣṭā daivaṃ caivātra pañcamam ||

قال فايشَمبايَنا: «في هذا الأمر خمسة عوامل: الأساس (المقرّ المتجسّد الذي يقع فيه الفعل)، والفاعل، والآلات المتعددة (وسائل الفعل)، وتنوّع السعي والحركة، وكخامسٍ القضاء/العناية. وهكذا ينبغي أن يُفهم أن الفعل ينشأ من اجتماع هذه الأسباب، لا من مصدر واحد وحده.»
