नारायणात्मकश्चापि स्पर्शो वायुगुण: स्मृत: । नारायणात्मकश्चैव शब्द आकाशसम्भव:,वायुका गुण स्पर्श भी नारायणस्वरूप ही है तथा आकाशका गुण शब्द भी नारायणमय ही है
nārāyaṇātmakaś cāpi sparśo vāyuguṇaḥ smṛtaḥ | nārāyaṇātmakaś caiva śabda ākāśasambhavaḥ ||
قال فَيْشَمْبَايَنَة: إن صفة اللمس، وهي من خصائص الريح، تُفهم أيضاً أنها من طبيعة نارايانا. وكذلك الصوت—المولود من الفضاء (ākāśa)—هو أيضاً من طبيعة نارايانا.
वैशग्पायन उवाच
That the subtle qualities of the elements—touch in air and sound in space—are not independent realities but are to be understood as pervaded by, and grounded in, Nārāyaṇa; this supports a devotional and non-dual contemplative vision of the world.
In Vaiśaṃpāyana’s discourse within Śānti Parva, the teaching turns to cosmological-metaphysical explanation, identifying elemental qualities (guṇas) and affirming that these too are ‘Nārāyaṇa-maya,’ reinforcing the theme of the Supreme’s all-pervasiveness.
