Nāgendra–Brāhmaṇa Saṃvāda: Praśna-vidhi and Dharmic Approach on the Gomatī Riverbank
यां यामिच्छेत् तनुं देव: कर्तु कार्यविधौ क्वचित् । तां तां कुर्याद् विकुर्वाण: स्वयमात्मानमात्मना,परमात्मा कार्यसाधनके लिये जिस-जिस शरीरको धारण करना चाहते हैं, उसे कार्य करते समय स्वयं ही प्रकट कर लेते हैं
yāṁ yām icchet tanuṁ devaḥ kartuṁ kārya-vidhau kvacit | tāṁ tāṁ kuryād vikurvāṇaḥ svayam ātmānam ātmanā ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: متى شاء الإله أن يتخذ جسدًا بعينه لإنجاز أمرٍ ما، فإنه في تلك اللحظة يُظهر تلك الصورة، متحوّلًا بذاته وبقوته، لكي يتمّ العمل المقصود.
वैशग्पायन उवाच
The Supreme is free from limitation by any single form and can manifest whatever embodiment is required to accomplish a purpose—especially the maintenance of order and the fulfillment of dharma—acting through His own inherent power.
Vaiśaṃpāyana states a doctrinal point within the Śānti Parva’s reflective teaching: the Divine, when a task arises, assumes an appropriate form and becomes manifest to carry out that work, emphasizing purposeful manifestation rather than accidental embodiment.
