Educational Q&A

The verse teaches that divine epithets like ‘Keśava’ are not arbitrary; they are spiritually potent and ethically meaningful, validated by the consensus of devas and ṛṣis, thereby reinforcing reverence for sacred names and the authority of realized beings.

Arjuna speaks while discussing the significance of Kṛṣṇa’s epithet ‘Keśava’, stating that this name is regarded as boon-conferring and is recognized and affirmed by gods and great seers.
