न चास्य हीयते प्राणो न ग्लानिरुपजायते । त्रयाणामपि लोकानां तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्‌,ऐसा कठोर तप करनेपर भी न तो उनके प्राण नष्ट हुए और न उन्हें थकान ही हुई। यह तीनों लोकोंके लिये अद्भुत-सी बात हुई

na cāsya hīyate prāṇo na glānir upajāyate | trayāṇām api lokānāṃ tad adbhutam ivābhavat ||

قال بهيشما: ومع ذلك لم ينقص نَفَسُهُ الحيوي، ولم تنشأ فيه كلالة. حقًّا بدا ذلك كالمعجزة لأهل العوالم الثلاثة.
