शुकस्य योगसिद्धिः (Śuka’s Yogic Attainment and Ascent)

एवमुक्त: स वैदेहं प्रत्युवाचापरोक्षवित्‌ । निवृत्तिर्न तयोरस्ति नानिवृत्ति: कथठ्चन

evam uktaḥ sa vaidehaṁ pratyuvāca aparokṣavit | nivṛttir na tayor asti nānivṛttiḥ kathaṁcana ||

فلما خوطب بذلك أجاب الحكيمُ—وهو ذو معرفةٍ مباشرة—ملكَ فيديها قائلاً: «لا انقطاعَ مطلقاً لهذين الأمرين: الشيخوخة والموت؛ غير أنّه ليس صحيحاً أيضاً أنّ انقطاعهما مستحيلٌ على كل وجه. فليس بالمال ولا بالسلطان الدنيوي يُغلَبان؛ ولكن بالمعرفة يُنهى حتى دَورُ التناسخ نفسه—فماذا يُقال بعد ذلك عن الشيخوخة والموت؟»
