यदाज्ञानेन कुर्वीत गुणसर्ग पुन: पुन: । यदा55त्मानं न जानीते तदा5$5त्मापि न मुच्यते,परंतु वह जबतक अज्ञानवश बारंबार गुणोंका संसर्ग करता और अपने असंगस्वरूपको नहीं जानता है, तबतक उसकी मुक्ति नहीं होती है
yad ajñānena kurvīta guṇa-saṅgaṃ punaḥ punaḥ | yadā ātmānaṃ na jānīte tadā ātmāpi na mucyate ||
قال ياجنافالكيا: «ما دام المرء، بسبب الجهل، يعود مرةً بعد مرة إلى الارتباط بالغونات، ولا يعرف الذات على أنها غير متعلّقة، فلا تنشأ النجاة لتلك الذات نفسها.»
