ये त्वन्ये तत्त्वकुशलास्तेषामेतन्निदर्शनम् । अतः पर प्रवक्ष्यामि योगानामनुदर्शनम्,दूसरे भी जो तत्त्वविचारकुशल दिद्वान् हैं, उनका भी ऐसा ही मत है। इसके बाद मैं योगियोंके शास्त्रका वर्णन करूँगा
ye tv anye tattvakuśalās teṣām etan nidarśanam | ataḥ paraṁ pravakṣyāmi yogānām anudarśanam ||
قال ياجْنَفَلْكْيَا: «وكذلك أولئك الحكماء الآخرون، الماهرون في تمييز الحقيقة، يذهبون إلى هذا الرأي بعينه—وهذا مثاله ودليله. فلذلك، سأشرع بعد ذلك في بيان الشرح المعتمد لطرائق اليوغا (Yoga)، كما ينبغي أن تُفهم وتُمارَس.»
याज़्वल्क्य उवाच
That the view just stated is not merely personal opinion: other truth-discerners (tattvakuśalāḥ) also accept it, and on that basis the speaker proceeds to a structured exposition of yoga as a disciplined path of understanding and practice.
In Śānti Parva’s didactic setting, Yājñavalkya is continuing a philosophical instruction: he cites the agreement of other wise investigators as confirmation of the point made, then announces a transition to describing the yogic system in an orderly manner.
