सांख्ययोगभेदः तथा योगबलोपदेशः
Sāṃkhya–Yoga Distinction and Instruction on Yogic Strength
भीष्म उवाच शृणु राजन्नवहित: सर्वमेतद् यथातथम् । यथामति यथा चैतच्छुतपूर्व मयानघ
bhīṣma uvāca: śṛṇu rājann avahitaḥ sarvam etad yathātatham | yathāmati yathā caitac chrutapūrvaṃ mayānagha ||
قال بهيشما: «اصغِ أيها الملك بكل انتباه. سأقصّ عليك هذا كله كما هو على الحقيقة—بحسب ما أدركه وبحسب ما سمعته من قبل، يا من لا إثم عليه».
भीष्म उवाच
The verse emphasizes truthful transmission and responsible speech: the teacher should speak attentively and convey an account as accurately as possible, acknowledging the limits of personal understanding while remaining faithful to what was received through tradition.
Bhishma begins or continues an instructive discourse to the king (Yudhishthira), asking him to listen carefully while Bhishma narrates a prior account exactly as he had heard it, setting a tone of careful, ethical instruction.
