कृतकौतूहलस्तेषु मुक्तश्नवर यथासुखम्‌ । 'शास्त्र-विधिके अनुसार इन्द्रियोंद्वारा इन्द्रियोंके विषयोंका अनुभव करके जब तुम उनके खेलको पूरा कर चुको

kṛtakautūhalas teṣu muktaśnavar yathāsukham | śāstra-vidhike anusāra indriyaiḥ indriyaviṣayān anubhavya yadā tvaṁ teṣāṁ krīḍāṁ pūrayitvā, santānaṁ jātaṁ vā na vā, tataḥ muktaḥ sukhapūrvaṁ vicara ||

قال بهيشما: «إذا أشبعتَ فضولك في موضوعات الحواس، وتمتّعتَ بها وفق أحكام الشاسترا (śāstra)، حتى إذا أتممتَ “لعبتها”—سواء وُلد لك نسلٌ أم لم يُولد—فعندئذٍ تحرَّر منها وعِشْ في سكينةٍ ويسر.»
