जब ब्रह्माजीने इस प्रकार कहा और यज्ञमें भाग मिलनेकी भी व्यवस्था हो गयी, तब महादेवजी अमिततेजस्वी भगवान् ब्रह्मासे इस प्रकार बोले--“तथास्तु' ऐसा ही हो ।।
tathāstu—ity evaṃ bhavatu. parāṃ ca prītim agamad utsmayan caiva pinākadhṛk | avāpa ca tadā bhāgaṃ yathoktaṃ brahmaṇā bhavaḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «فلما قال براهما ذلك، ورتّب كذلك أن تُخصَّص له حصّةٌ في اليَجْنَة (القربان)، أجاب مهاديڤا ذو البهاء الذي لا يُقاس براهما قائلاً: “تَثاستو؛ فليكن الأمر على هذا الوجه بعينه.” ثم إن حامل قوس بيناكا ابتسم وامتلأ رضاً عميقاً، ونال بهاڤا (شيفا) في تلك الساعة نصيبه من القربان كما أعلنه براهما.»
