नारद-समङ्ग-संवादः — The Nārada–Samaṅga Dialogue on Fearlessness and Equanimity

विद्वान्‌ सर्वेषु भूतेषु आत्मना सोपमो भवेत्‌ | कृतकृत्यो विशुद्धात्मा सर्व त्यजति चैव ह

vidvān sarveṣu bhūteṣu ātmanā sopamo bhavet | kṛtakṛtyo viśuddhātmā sarvaṃ tyajati caiva ha ||

قال بهيشما: ينبغي للحكيم أن ينظر إلى جميع الكائنات على أنها مساويةٌ له، فيقيسها بالميزان الباطني نفسه. وبتهذيب هذا التعاطف غير المتحيّز يصير المرءُ مُنجزًا لواجبه، طاهرَ النفس، فيطرح عنه كل عيبٍ وكل دنس.
