Shloka 28

नारद–असित (देवल) संवादः — भूतप्रभवाप्यय, इन्द्रिय-गुण-विवेक, क्षेत्रज्ञ-तत्त्व

बालै: शृज़्ेण पादेन सम्भवत्येव गौर्मखम्‌ । एवं प्रत्येकश: सर्व यद्‌ यदस्य विधीयते,ये सब यज्ञके अंग हैं और यज्ञ इस जगतकी स्थितिका मूल कारण है; ऐसा श्रुतिका कथन है। घी, दूध, दही, छाछ, गोबर, चमड़ा, बाल, सींग और पैर--इन सबके द्वारा गौ यज्ञकर्मका सम्पादन करती है। इस प्रकार इनमेंसे प्रत्येक वस्तुका, जो-जो विहित है, संग्रह करना चाहिये

bālaiḥ śṛṅgeṇa pādena sambhavaty eva gaur makham | evaṃ pratyekaśaḥ sarvaṃ yad yad asya vidhīyate, tat tat saṃgrahītavyam ||

قال كابيلا: «من شعر البقرة وقرنيها، بل وحتى من حافرها، يصبح الطقس القرباني ممكنًا حقًّا. فكل ما يُشرَع أخذه منها—كلٌّ بحسب وجهه—ينبغي أن يُجمع ويُستعمل على نحوٍ لائق. فهذه أعضاء القربان، والقربان يعلّمه الويدا (الشروتي) دعامةً تأسيسيةً لنظام العالم واستقراره».
