नारद–असित (देवल) संवादः — भूतप्रभवाप्यय, इन्द्रिय-गुण-विवेक, क्षेत्रज्ञ-तत्त्व

तपस्विनो धृतिमन्तः श्रुतिविज्ञानचक्षुष: । सर्वमार्ष हि मन्यन्ते व्याहृतं विदितात्मन:,“तपस्वी, धैर्यवान्‌, वेद एवं विज्ञानरूप दृष्टिवाले ऋषिमुनि वेदको नित्यज्ञानसम्पन्न परमेश्वरकी नि:श्वासभूत वाणी मानते हैं

tapasvino dhṛtimantaḥ śrutivijñānacakṣuṣaḥ | sarvam ārṣaṃ hi manyante vyāhṛtaṃ viditātmanaḥ ||

قال بهيشما: إن الزهّاد الثابتين—الذين تُبصر عيونهم بنور الشروتي (śruti) وبصيرة العلم الحق—يرون كل ما هو «آرْشَ» (ārṣa، المنسوب إلى الرِّشيّات) كلامًا مُعلَنًا على لسان من تحقّق بمعرفة الذات؛ وحيًا قائمًا على علمٍ مُدرَك، لا اختراعًا بشريًا.
