अध्याय २५६ — श्रद्धा, अहिंसा, स्पर्धा-त्यागः
Tūlādhāra–Jājali: Faith, Non-harm, and Renunciation of Rivalry
त्वद्भधवं हि जगन्नाथ एतत् स्थावरजड्रमम् । प्रसाद्य त्वां महादेव याचाम्यावृत्तिजा: प्रजा:
tvadbhavaṁ hi jagannātha etat sthāvarajaḍramam | prasādya tvāṁ mahādeva yācāmyāvṛttijāḥ prajāḥ ||
قال نارادا: «يا ربَّ الكون! إن هذا العالم كلَّه—بما فيه الثابتُ وما لا إحساسَ له—إنما يصدر عنك. فلذلك، بعد أن التمستُ رضاك، يا مهاديڤا، ألتمسُ أن تُخضِعَ هذه الكائنات لناموسِ الرجوع: أن تموت ثم تتجسّد بالولادة من جديد».
