Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization

अभिभूयेह चार्चिष्मद्‌ व्यसृजत्‌ सप्त मानसान्‌ | दूरगं बहुधागामि प्रार्थनासंशयात्मकम्‌,उस मनकी दूरतक गति है तथा वह अनेक प्रकारसे गमनागमन करता है। प्रार्थना और संशय-वृत्तिशाली वह मन चैतन्यसे संयुक्त होकर सम्पूर्ण पदार्थोको अभिभूत करके सात- मानस ऋषियोंकी सृष्टि करता है

abhibhūyeha cārciṣmad vyasṛjat sapta mānasān | dūragam bahudhāgāmi prārthanāsaṁśayātmakam ||

قال فياسا: هنا، بعدما قهر كلَّ الأشياء، أخرج المبدأُ المتلألئُ الحكماءَ السبعة المولودين من الذهن. إنّ الذهن يسرح بعيدًا، ويتردّد ذهابًا وإيابًا على وجوه شتّى، وتعلوه سِمَتا الابتهال والشكّ؛ غير أنّه إذا اتّصل بالوعي قهر جميع الموضوعات وصار منبع الخلق.
